Antrak Logistics delivers for Therma Visayas Inc.

2x150 MW Toledo Coal-Fired Power Plant Project for Therma Visayas Inc.

Antrak Logistics, a subsidiary of Bollorè Logistics, recently delivered breakbulk cargo for the 2×150 MW Coal Power Plant project in Toledo City in Cebu owned by Therma Visayas Inc. (TVI).

Total of ten (10) breakbulk shipments consisting of construction materials such as steel pipes, rebars and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes for seawater intake, and boiler pressure parts for boiler building 1 were handled and discharged. Out of the (10) ten breakbulk shipments, around 20,000 cubic meters (CBM) of the total 30,000 CBM of steel structures were recently delivered.

The oversized and overweight cargo, which was part of the (10) ten breakbulk shipments transported, included the Boiler steam drum, the Shell and Transition, and 2 crane girder units.

In order for us to comply with the technical and the safety requirements of the project, we used a Self Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT) with a 2 x 9 axle line side by side configuration during the roll off and transport from the jetty to the construction designated laydown area.

For the Boiler steam drum, we used a Self Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT) with a 1 x 9 axle line side by side configuration.

For the Crane girders and accessories, we used a Self Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT) with a 1 x 14 axle line side by side configuration.

Antrak Logistics’ scope of works included the customs clearance, delivery of cargo, as well as supplying the Landing Craft Transport (LCT) for the shipside receiving operations, which were performed at the Cebu International Port (CIP) anchorage area and at the Toledo City anchorage area.

APTSC provides all delivery equipment and manpower needed to execute and complete the delivery for this project.

Antrak Logistics delivers 100MVA transformer for ABB

Delivery of 100MVA transformer for ABB

Antrak Logistics recently delivered ABB’s 100 MVA transformer for the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines. The transformer weighing 60.7 Tons and measuring 6.01 meters in Length, 3.14 meters width and 3.96 meters in Height was delivered to the Substation of the Compostela in Northern Cebu. It is intended as an upgrade to the Station’s old 50 MVA Transformer.

The Cargo originated from ABB’s Plant in Thailand. Antrak Logistics delivered the transformer and its accessories with a total of 49 packages, weighing 97 Tons and 195 cubic meters in total volume.

Antrak Logistics Delivers Airfreight Shipment to PEDC

Airfreight shipment to PEDC

Antrak Logistics facilitated an urgent airfreight shipment for Global Business Power/Panay Power Corporation’s reinforced conveyor belt cargoes. These cargoes were urgently required by PEDC’s Iloilo coal-fired power plant. Antrak partnered with Asian Aerospace for this chartered air transport using a Dornier 228-202K type of aircraft.

Antrak Logistics’ scope of work for this requirement includes uncrating the cargo to fit the aircraft, arrangement for the air charter, unloading of the cargo at Iloilo Airport, and delivery to the site using a 10 wheeler truck.

Antrak Logistics Demobilizes Drilling Equipment for Iceland Drilling Inc. Project

Antrak Logistics handled the demobilization of the Geothermal Drill Rig and its accessories. Cargo was consolidated from various locations like Biliran province, Cebu, Manila, and Batangas and then transported to the Geothermal Site in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

Cargo was loaded at ship side on the foreign Break Bulk Vessel, which was chartered by Iceland Drilling Corp. Used was two (2) Landing Craft Transport (LCT) to bring the cargo alongside the foreign vessel

The Geothermal Drill Rig has a total volume of more than 7,000CBM with a single heaviest component at 55 tons.

Antrak Philippines Transport Solutions Corporation scope of work was from the logistics planning, transport management, manpower and supply of equipment such as Trucks, Cranes and LCT Barges.

Transport of two cranes from PEDC, Iloilo to Kawit, Cavite

Antrak Logistics, a subsidiary of Bolloré Logistics, recently delivered a 200-ton capacity crane and an 80-ton capacity crane from PEDC (Panay Energy Development Corp.) site in Iloilo to Kawit, Cavite for Ken Ting Heavy Ind. Co.

The two cranes were disassembled and transported from Iloilo Port to Manila Port using a 4000DWT LCT Barge. The heaviest piece weighed 33,900kgs and the total volume, including other accessories and a 15T Forklift, was approx. 775CBM.

Antrak Logistics scope of services was the loading of cargo at origin, land transport, barging and unloading at the destination via a 50-ton telescopic crane.

Transport for Delta-P Palawan Project

Antrak Logistics and Bollore Singapore delivered various cargo and equipment supplied by Wartsila Finland for the expansion of the 16 Megawatt bunker-fired power plant operated by Delta P Inc in Brgy. Sta. Lourdes Puerto Princesa City Palawan.

The first batch of the equipment for the Wartsila Generator Sets was delivered in July 2016 while the new batch of shipment will arrive in Palawan around August 2016.

Delta P, Inc. (Delta P) is Palawan’s first private power provider, continuing its expansion in Palawan as it inked a 15-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with the Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) to provide 26.65 megawatts (MW) to the main Palawan Grid.

Delta P currently operates a 16-MW bunker-fired power plant and is serving a 10-year power supply contract with PALECO. It supplies one-third of the cooperative’s energy requirement.

Polyard Petroleum Group International in Alegria, Cebu

Antrak Logistics transported drilling and rigging equipment for East Asia Oil Service Company Limited Polyard Petroleum Group International in Alegria, Cebu during the months of June and July 2016.

East Asia Oil Service Company Limited was initially engaged in oil drilling but recently discovered a natural gas reserve. This gas reserve was also confirmed by the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE).

The company is currently in the process of acquiring a gas production certificate from the DOE. East Asia Oil Service Company Ltd. plans to set up a power plant that will utilize natural gas to produce electricity.

The 3rd Antrak Logistics Golf Tourney held at the scenic Langer Course of the Riviera Golf and Country Club last April 15, 2016. This year’s tournament featured 76 players which consisted of both clients and business partners of Antrak Logistics.

2016 Mining Philippines Conference and Exhibition

Antrak Philippines Transport Solutions Corp. (APTSC) participated once again as one of the exhibitors of the Mining Philippines International Conference and Exhibition 2016. This is an annual event organized by the Chamber of Mines of the Philippines. Held last August 23 – 25, 2016 at Marriot Hotel Manila, Pasay City, the exhibition attracted major mining stakeholders from locally and even abroad.

Issues happening to the mining industry in the country is the main focus of this prestigious event. At the exhibit, participating companies showcase their latest products and services for more efficient exploration, development, and utilization of minerals in consonance with sound economic, environmental and social policies.

Well-known lawmakers joined the conference for Mining Philippines 2016 particularly Senator Cynthia A. Villar. Both government officials discussed with the mining industry their concerns and proposal concerning the mining industry.

2016 Power & Electricity World

Antrak Logistics participated by exhibiting in the 2016 Power and Electricity World held last May 18-20, 2016 at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Philippines.

The Power and Electricity World 2016 is a yearly event organized by Terrapin. The event offers a wide scope of opportunities for learning and interaction.

Theme discussed during the conference included The future of power generation, capacity planning & asset management, Transmission & distribution network planning & operations, The potential of renewables & energy storage, Solar developments, project management, financing, technologies, Green buildings & energy efficiency for commerce & industries.
