2x150 MW Toledo Coal-Fired Power Plant Project for Therma Visayas Inc.
Antrak Philippines Transport Solutions Corp. (APTSC), a subsidiary of Bollorè Logistics, delivered various bulk cargoes for the 2×150 MW Coal Power Plant project in Toledo City in Cebu owned by Therma Visayas Inc. (TVI).
Total of ten (10) breakbulk shipments of construction materials such as steel pipes, rebars and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes for seawater intake were handled and discharged. Transported are steel structures of about 20,000 cbm out of 30,000 cubic meters required in the construction phase of the project.
APTSC’s scope of works included the delivery of cargoes using Landing Craft Transport (LCT) through shipside receiving either the Cebu International Port (CIP) or in Toledo City Anchorage.
APTSC provided hustling and delivery using equipment such as flatbed trailer trucks, manpower, and crane during LCT deliveries from TVI temporary jetty to the project site’s designated lay down areas.

Transport for the biggest Solar Farm in Southeast Asia
Antrak Logistics successfully delivered solar equipment for to the largest solar farm in the region. Bouygues Energies and Soleq Holdings Inc.’s 132.5-megawatt solar farm in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental officially opened last March 3, 2016. This P10-Billion solar farm located in Hacienda Paz, Brgy. Tinampaan is considered to be the biggest solar generation facility in *South East Asia and 7th in the world.
Antrak Logistics delivered around 800 shipping containers for the project, bulk cargoes like transformers and some airfreight shipment deliveries.

Delivery of 110T Steam Drum for SMC Limay
Antrak Logistics mobilized a 12-line multi-axle trailer to San Miguel Power Project Site in Limay, Bataan to delivery the 1st unit of the steam drum for the plant. This steam drum weighs 110T. Antrak Logistics’ scope of work was to ship side receiving of the cargo in a barge straight to a multi-axle trailer, direct delivery under the boiler structure, and unloading using hydraulic jack system up to the ground.
Antrak Logistics expects another steam drum unit for the project.

Delivery for Iceland Drilling Corporation’s Mindoro Project
Antrak Logistics delivered the rigging equipment for Iceland Drilling’s geothermal project exploration for Emerging Power Inc. Antrak delivered the geothermal drill rig from the old pad in Biliran to its new location at Mindoro.
The scope of the service provided by Antrak Logistics covers logistics planning, transport management, a supply of trucks, and LCT craft to include the manpower needed for the move.
The disassembled geothermal drill rig has a volume of over 6,000 cbm with a single heaviest component at 55 Tons.

The 62nd Annual National Mine Safety & Environment Conference
Antrak Logistics took part in the celebration to show-case responsible mining practices during the 62nd Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference held in Baguio City last November 17, 2015.
In attendance were mining industry stakeholders which started the four-day event with a tree planting and tree tending event at the Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA) Park at the Baguio Botanical Garden.
The four-day event annual mining exhibit was held at the Camp John Hay Convention Center. Community relations officers from the different mining companies held discussions and shared experiences during the forum.
Oceana Gold Philippines’ Chairman, Mr. Jose Leviste, was the keynote speaker during the Mineral Industry Symposium where studies on better mining practices in the country were presented.
During Student Congress, Mining Engineering students and other related courses had the chance to interact with the industry players as part of the four-day event.

Antrak Logistics Joins 2015 PowerTrends
Antrak Logistics participated in the Power Trends 2015 event held last September 23-25, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Philippines.
PowerTrends held its 10th biennial edition of conferences and exhibits, incorporating two major industry events in one venue—Energy 2015 and Electech 2015.
PowerTrends international exhibit and its conferences were attended by leaders and senior officials of private and government energy-related companies, investors, and financial institutions.
The occasion provided a platform for interaction among energy players and government agencies, hence ensuring opportunities for networking and business exchanges.
PowerTrend was organized in 1995 by the Department of Energy and National Power Corporation. It is now the largest and longest-running international energy event in the Philippines.
Antrak Logistics Joins 2015 Mining Philippines Conference and Exhibition
Antrak Philippines Transport Solutions Corp. (APTSC) participated once again as one of the exhibitors at the Mining Philippines International Conference and Exhibition 2015. This is an annual event organized by the Chamber of Mines of the Philippines. Held last September 15 – 17, 2015 at Solaire Resort & Casino Manila, the exhibition attracted major mining stakeholders locally and even from abroad.
Issues happening to the mining industry in the country is the main focus of this prestigious event. At the exhibit, participating companies showcased their latest products and services for more efficient exploration, development, and utilization of minerals, in consonance with sound economic, environmental, and social policies.
Well-known lawmakers joined the conference for the Mining Philippines 2015, particularly Vice President Jejomar Binay and Sen. Bongbong Marcos. Both government officials discussed with the mining industry their concerns and proposal.
Operations’ Safety Management Cebu Operations Team training on Safety Chemical Handling
Last January 2016, Antrak Logistics Cebu Branch, in coordination with Antrak Logistics’ Masbate Project Site personnel, conducted a two-day training on Chemical Handling Safety.
The training was focused on Basic Material Handling of Chemicals, Hazmat, and Chemical Labels orientation. Included are topics on Emergency Response in cases of Fire, Chemical Spills, and other related emergencies.
The highlight of the event was the actual drill on the responsible handling of Chemicals.
Participants include Antrak Logistics employees and its subcontractors as witnessed by representatives from the Masbate Gold Project.
